The Red Bull X-Fighters world tour heads to Southern California on Saturday, May 12 at the famous Glen Helen Raceway east of Los Angeles.  The FMX competition returns to the US since its last stop in 2009 at the Dallas Forth Worth Stockyards.  This years competition boasts the biggest course in the history of Red Bull X-Fighters!

Oceanwatch Production Group will be handling the live event production for the second leg of the 6 stop tour.  22 cameras will be covering the course with a live world feed occurring simultaneously.  TV personalities Sal Masekela and Todd Harris will be on site to cover the event for Red Bull’s Signature Series.  Tune in to the broadcast on Saturday, May 26 on NBC.

Red Bull X-Fighters 2012

Freestyle Motocross greats Dany Torres, Todd Potter, Eigo Sato, Levi Sherwood, Thomas Pages, Martin Koren, Andre Villa, Wes Agee, Nick Dunne, Rob Adelbert, Maikel Melero, and Javier Villegas will compete on May 12.  New Zealand’s Levi Sherwood leads the tour after taking the top spot on the podium in Dubai.  The Red Bull X-Fighters tour offers an impressive 1 million dollar prize for the overall winner.

FMX legends Travis Pastrana, Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg, Robbie Maddison, Nate Adams, Cameron Sinclair, Mat Rebeaud, and Mike Mason have all participated in Red Bull X-Fighters.
