OceanWatch heads into summer with a jam-packed schedule of events!

The team travels to New York City for the first of 5 summer concerts sponsored by Intel and MTV.  ‘Empire of the Sun’ headlines the NYC  fête on June 20th.  The Music Experiment concert series will continue on to Los Angeles, Nashville, San Francisco, and Boston.

What do you get when you combine Music, Art, & Cocktails?  The launch of Absolut X- a collaboration of artists, musicians, and mixologists.  The result is an interactive experience that is sure to be the party tour of the summer.  Paramount Theater in Seattle, WA will be home for the next event.

Things will be heating up in Tampa, FL as the Red Bull Wake Open event returns for a second year to the Tampa Convention Center.  36 of the world’s top riders will compete in boat, big-air, and park.  Catch the live broadcast on Saturday, July 6 at 4pm ET on NBC as part of the Red Bull Signature Series.

The word ‘Flugtag’ means Flying Day in German.  And flying is just what the Canadians of Ottawa-Gattineau are hoping to do.  Eager teams of 5 will spend weeks preparing for the big event.  Outrageous skits, costumes, and home-made flying machines will be all the craze come July 27.

Canadian participants are eager to re-write aviation history and beat the current world record of 226 ft held by a proud team in Germany.

Kicking off the month of August is the Loretta Lynn Amateur Motocross Championship in Hurricane Mills, TN.  The best amateurs in the nation will gather at Loretta Lynn Ranch to go head to head in a 7 day competition.  With over 30 different national classes and over a hundred participants, it’s going to be a hot, hot week in the south!
